He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Lakhimpur Lok Sabha constituency in Assam as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.  He has previously served as the president for BJP Assam, and is also a Nationacsa Executive Member of the party. Sonowal was the president of the All Assam Students Union from 1992 to 1999. Until January 2011, he was a member of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) political party but later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He worked in the Indian Revenue Service as a Joint Commissioner of the Income Tax Department in New Delhi.

Kamal Nath
He is an Indian politician and the 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state. As a leader of the INC he has served as the Minister of Urban Development. Devendra Fadnavis
He is an Indian politician and 18th, incumbent Chief Minister of Maharashtra holding the office from 31 October 2014. Fadnavis represents the Nagpur South West constituency in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

N. Biren Singh
He is an Indian politician and former footballer and journalist. He is the current Chief Minister of Manipur. He began his career as a footballer and got recruited in the Border Security Force (BSF) playing for its team in domestic competitions. He resigned from the BSF and turned to journalism. Despite having had no formal training and experience, he began the vernacular daily Naharolgi Thoudang in 1992 and worked as the editor till 2001.

Conrad Sangma
He assumed presidency of the National People’s Party in 2016 after the death of his father and former Chief Minister Purno Sangma. He was also the Member of Parliament from Tura (2016-2018). Conrad is a former leader of the opposition in the eighth Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, representing the NPP from Selsella constituency in the West Garo Hills. Previously in 2008, Sangma became the youngest Finance Minister of Meghalaya.

Trivendra Singh Rawat
He is an Indian politician and is the eighth and current CM of Uttarakhand. Rawat was a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from 1979 to 2002 and held the post of organizing secretary of the Uttarakhand region, and later the state, after its formation in 2000. He was elected from Doiwala in the State’s first legislative assembly elections in 2002. He retained his seat in the 2007 elections and served as the State’s Minister of Agriculture.

She also known as Didi, she is an Indian politician of Bengali descent who is serving as the 8th and current Chief Minister of West Bengal since 2011. She is the first woman to hold the office.
