Ranchi: Action will be taken against the Kanke CO of Ranchi in the case of land ghettala. On the recommendation of action, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his consent. Housing society has been built on the land of Jumar river in Ranchi. Investigation has revealed that this society has been formed with the connivance of Kanke CO.
A petition challenging the jurisdiction of Kanke CO in a land case was heard in the court of Justice Rajesh Shankar of the High Court of Jharkhand. After the hearing, the court quashed the order on behalf of CO Kanke to stop the construction work in this case. Also, Kanke CO has been fined Rs 10,000.
Apart from this, the court also quashed the order from the police station to stop the construction work. During the hearing, Amritansh Vats, on behalf of the applicant, told the court that CO cannot stop the construction on any land. It is not under his jurisdiction. The CO does not have the right to pass any restraining order pending the title suit in court.
Let it be said that this matter is of a broad-based, Kanke area. The applicant Sandeep Khanna and others bought land here. When he started construction work, some people claimed that land there. When the applicants started construction work again, Kanke CO passed the order banning the construction work from their level. The CO was told that the title suit related to this land is pending with Civil Judge Ranchi, while the Ranchi Civil Court has not given stay in the case yet.
