Ranchi: The ABVP Election Result in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Gujarat resident Dr. Chhaganbhai Nanji Bhai Patel was elected as the All India President, while JNU student Nidhi Tripathi again became th National General Secretary. The two uncontested elections for the session 20-21 took place at ABVP’s Mumbai office on Tuesday.
It was announced by Election Officer Dr. Uma Shrivastava that the tenure of both the officials will be for one year and both will take charge at the 66th National Session in Nagpur on 25th & 26th December. In the same session, both the officials will announce their team. In view of the Corona pandemic, only the principal workers of all the provinces were invited to the national convention this time around 1500 to 2000 in national session. The workers are involved.
President can be made for three years and General Secretary for two years.
People studying in college and university in ABVP are elected president and only students studying in college and university are elected general ministers. Any individual can become president for a maximum of three years and a general minister for two years. Dr. Chhaganbhai Patel has been elected President for the first time, while Nidhi Tripathi has been elected General Secretary for the second time.
