TMC supports the Farmers, won’t support Bharat Bandh in Bengal

The Farmers called for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on December 08, Saugata Roy Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP on December 07 said that the party supports the enraging farmers, but will not support the strike call in West Bengal as it goes against the party’s principles. 

“Trinamool Congress (TMC) stands with agitating farmers, but we will not support the Bharat bandh in West Bengal. It (bandh) goes against our principles”, Roy claimed.
